Our State...Our Principles...Our Future

Ultimately, I believe in what Thomas Jefferson described as the "sum of good government", that being "a wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned."  I believe our government's direction over the past several years is in direct contrast to this philosophy. Our government has not made wise decisions, it has not been frugal, it has not left the people free to pursue their happiness, and it has not left our earnings alone. And I'm not willing to let it go uncontested anymore.
